Beat softened butter, sugar, and vanilla. Sift flour and salt together and stir
into creamed mixture. Add coconut; mix well. Put/pat half in a greased 8 x 8 x 2
pan. Combine remaining ingredients; spoon over coconut in pan. Top with
remaining coconut mixture, pat lightly. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 to 25
minutes. Serve warm with ice cream.
